When I saw this place online, originally being from Southwest OH where this type of thin crust edge to edge pizza is common. I knew I had to drive up from Punta Gorda to try it. I was not disappointed! After 7 years, found my go to pizza place.
If you enjoy “Tavern Style” Pizza.... You will love this place. If you don’t know what Tavern Style is either Google it, or watch Dave Portnoy’s One Bite Pizza Reviews. This place makes a legit spectacular Tavern Style pizza. It’s take-out or delivery. It’s not about the place, it’s about the pizza which is ridiculously good. My mouth has the burns to prove it. I couldn’t stop eating it driving home. Not best in North Port, best in the entire area! I home when I move to the Midwest later this year, the “Tavern Style” pizza places there live up to this. I only wish for them and this review I took a picture of it when it came out. It looked better than any pie I’ve seen on their site.
It is carry out only but the pizza was fabulous! The girl at the counter took my order wrong but the guy caught it and corrected it. I am from Chicago so know a good pizza. Best I had in Florida!
Ordered a large everything pizza. Wow! When they handed me the box I knew it was special. The crust was crisp but not dry. Cheese was perfect. Flavors exploded in your mouth. Best we've had here!
Fantastic pizza! It has a thinner and crispier crust! Our pizzas came as ordered with quick delivery. We moved down from Ohio and have been looking for a good local pizza spot and I think we have found it. Our personal favorite was the pepperoni, sausage and banana peppers! The cheese only, pepperoni only, and black olives only family members were pleased with theirs as well. We will be back!
Love the pizza! Our new favorite place for thin crust pizza! We had the Special and 3 item pizza! We didn’t take pics because the pizza looked so good we couldn’t wait to dig in.....but everything cooked to perfection! ( I am very picky about my pizza and I would give 10 stars if I could)! I wish we would have tried it sooner! Going to check out the other options for food soon! Thank you for great pizza, it’s about time North Port had some amazing pizza!
Been looking everywhere for a local taco pizza. Called and tried to see if they could accommodate our order... they were more than happy to oblige. we were out of the delivery order so they said to door dash. We did. We got exactly what we wanted. Thank you for being so accommodating. Plus, their potato skins are to die for. Garlic cheese bread, amazing. Customer service 10/10. Everything was amazing and to die for.
Would give 10 stars if I could! Our new favorite pizza place! We should have tried it sooner. We got double pepperoni but regular would have been plenty I'm sure, the Meat Lovers and Special were both exceptional as well. Edit to Add - We go every week now sometimes twice a week. We have never been disappointed, pizzas are always excellent!
